Our individual Dark Night of The Soul happens right before breakthroughs
I'm hopeful that mine is somehow imminent... it's been the long dark night of the soul and it seems to not want to end. I worry.
A butterfly needs to struggle to break out of its cocoon to develop the wing strength. If we break the cocoon for it, it will be unable to fly and die.
Just know you'll get there :) It'll happen when its time. I was in mine for 3 years

I was in a dark place recently. Wondering where I am in life. I've recently been the happiest I have been in a long time. Then again counsel from my best friend helped out a lot. I am sorry that you have yet to climb out of the dark. The only thing we can do is shine a light around you to let you know that you are not and you will never be alone. Take all the time you need. One thing I learned when I was getting out of the dark was that Newgrounds and the community, will always be here.
One thing I absolutely know for certain. Is that you are here. That is truly a most fortunate thing indeed.

I hope you are able to work through the sludge of the past, its a terrible amount of work but it is possible. No need to push yourself to finish a piece, it will happen when it needs to, for now, do good for you~

I...am sorry about that. You know, my childhood is technically still present, i still live in it, but i also gone through some things that nearly consumed me.
You know, the hill, as a symbol, means a lot to me. It shows the falls, and the climbs of life, that everybody has to go through.
I believe in you a lot, you may not feel good atm, but remember that the longer and lower you fall, the longer and higher you will climb.
