why do all teenage girls think that anybody cares about their idealism? is it just an attention thing? can you be an idealist and not tell people that you're an idealist?

Well, the thing ABOUT idealists is that they are more than willing to share their ideals with others. Otherwise that wouldn't make them idealists in the very first place. Now, in some cases I can be an optimist, in some, a pessimist. I do not share those notions all the time because sometimes, they are completely unnecessary. But here you have someone talking about people's hearts here; you have someone who wishes to start reaching out to them.
If you think NG is not the place for idealism, I respect that - but NG is, just like it is a place for everything else generated by a user.
