With beats-per-bar selector, you mean the thing where you can indeed select how many beats there are per bar and how many steps are per beat? It is still there right under project general info.
Unless you are talking about something compeletely different. Then I am confused.
I agree with you on the fruity soundfont player, it's ridiculous that they downgrade something in an update, especially seeing how widely used it is are. Currently I am using sforzando, but unfortunally it seems to lack any sort of ASDR controlling.
troisnyx, are you upset with me?
FL Stuart Dio... Pleasing some of the people some of the time.
I think the latest version is in beta mode, so it might be best to hang on until the final update is launched.
One of the things that annoyed me is how I need a fucking magnifying glass anytime I'm using Sytrus. Luckily it looks like that plugin finally got a revamp so the dials are a little bigger and I don't have to squint just to see what the hell is going on.
I didn't so much have that problem whenever I used Sytrus -- though mind you, maybe I'm more used to small text and I can see how annoying it'd be. :(
Have you tried using DirectWave? .SF2 files should be compatible and should load in just fine. I'm not sure if SFZ files will work or not.
I haven't, but even if that got around the SF2 problem, it'd still deter me from using FL 12 because my main complaint with it is the disappearance of the time signature selector.
Do you know about the Project General Settings area in the Options Dropdown? or F11 and go left to the Project Tab, you can set global time signature for the project. (Not useful for signature changes.)
Yep... Seems like they still forgot about all of us soundtrack scorers when they forgot signature changes. Again, not something that we should take more than 1 second to do.
