Happy Christmas! / Slight hiatus

Posted by Troisnyx - December 24th, 2012

With today being Christmas Eve, I wish everyone a blessed Christmas and a wonderful year ahead. I'm looking forward to tonight and the days that follow!

I will be back in January with things from the heart... A number of reasons for my inactivity:

- I don't have a working headset yet, and there is one coming in the mail.
- I followed TheZaaL's suggestion on a mic and now that one is coming in the mail too! That's going to be a late Christmas present, but still one nonetheless, from one of my parish friends.
- Apart from something Kingdom of Herts promised to release on Christmas Day, I don't want to work on anything else during the day. It is a time of joy and soulful celebration, I will do just that.
- I will be away starting 27 December and I'll be back in early January. Not particularly sure what date, but it'll be before the 9th, because term resumes on the 9th and I need to be back in Hatfield!

So there you go. I hope to see all of you soon!

Happy to hear you are finally getting a new mic :D
Merry Christmas Trois!

I'm glad and grateful. ^_^ Happy Christmas to you too!

Great to see that you're taking a break! I can't wait to hear some stuff with your new mic Nyx!

I trust it'll come.... I'll do my best to let the music flow from then on, and not force myself to do it.

It is an awesome mic for its price :P And it's small, but it needs a pop filter or something. It's not quite a 500$ mic, but it sure is doing the job!

and m0le, it was a friend of mine that suggested it to me :P, he's the expert. I'm just a satisfied user!

I'll get the pop filter in due time (for now, I'd cover it with a cloth or use a sock or something of the sort).
