On the drawings I've been making recently

With internet down at my place and my computer making weird noises, I've been using the university computers a lot lately. That means good news and bad news.

GOOD NEWS: More drawings can be done, and I may hopefully be able to brush up on my shading, proportions and sense of balance.

BAD NEWS: I cannot run FL Studio for the time being. While the Macs here have Garageband, I can't say I even know how to use it. I wonder if there's an option of mouse-clicking the notes into the piano roll like we can do with FL Studio... There are no MIDI controllers either.

----

I'm not going through the best of times, but I trust that Our Lord will lead me through this. I just want to thank all of you, friends and supporters, who have stuck by me to this day. The little, wonderful things you do make my day!

Ta for now,
T. x

What sort of "weird noises" is your computer making? It sounds like it could be one (or more) of several things.

Well.... the weird noises in question seem to come from the fan. It seems as if one of the parts of the hinge is stopping the fan from working -- like it's sunken in. It's a loud crackling noise, and I'm certain it's coming from the fan (for my Acer Aspire, it's at the back, on the left side).

Yeah, that does sound like a fan problem- I'd get it checked out by someone who knows what they're doing.

Alternatively, I would like to save up to build a computer from scratch. Laptop ideally.
