FL Studio Beta for Mac OSX

Posted by Troisnyx - September 6th, 2013

The GOOD:
They finally have it for Mac.

The BAD:
See image.

I basically had to guess in order to open the playlist, mixer and piano roll for the first time. All the text in the command boxes is missing.

(Now don't get me wrong, I ordinarily use it on a PC, but considering I'm at uni and would like something to upload over these computers, the Macs work better for me. Plus, you don't have as many software restrictions on Macs at uni as you do on PCs.)

The UGLY:
I CANNOT GO ON THE IMAGE-LINE FORUMS FOR SOME ODD REASON. It keeps prompting me to log out and log in as another user.

EDIT 19:02: Video proof is right here.

WHOAH! That's a LOT of buttons! You work on this??

Yes, and normally, I work this on a PC (my own computer runs on Windows 7). This is the first time I've run this on Mac -- this is the first time anyone would, considering this version of FL Studio came out, I think, two days ago.

(I don't use this to record my voice though; I use Audacity for voice and bodhran recordings.)

I also have the mac version now and ctrl+L worked for me for linking the track to the mixer, i dont understand why it isnt for you

I've no idea myself, TBH. This is FL Keys, something you should normally be able to hit Ctrl + L over... Are you using Lion, Mountain Lion or Mavericks?

im using mountain lion, if it still isnt working you can right click on the mixer port you want to link it to and select "link selected channel"

Even right-click (well, Ctrl + Click on Mac) isn't working. Would the solution be actually linking a PC mouse to this thing?

I'm on Lion by the way.

if you go to preferences you can set the trackpad (assuming you are using a macbook) to do right click when you use two fingers and tap on the trackpad, thats what i've been doing.

This is not a Macbook, but an iMac. I don't have a trackpad.
