Intending to join Stencyl Jam...

Posted by Troisnyx - March 18th, 2015

...but can't write code or use it to save my life. But: can write music, and I have just installed Stencyl for myself, so that I can learn as well. If anyone would like to join me in making a project (ideally, someone who knows how to use the software and help me learn past the tutorials, and someone who has a good sense of rhythm somehow because I kinda feel that might be important), I will be grateful.

In other news, the worst has happened AGAIN. I have lost all my files again as a result of OS problems I had on this computer. Thanks, Windows.

Same thing here. It happens to me every time I go on Stencyl. Even that Drag n' Drop coding is complicated. But I think that their tutorials are not bad to teach you how to use Stencyl AND how to code.

I think the main thing with me is that when I have a specific game idea in mind, it's beyond my means. I've long wanted to code a bullet hell..... which I haven't seen anyone do on Stencyl...

Please get a backup drive or three!

I have a 1TB backup portable hard drive, if that helps any......
